2001: A Space Odyssey A ground-breaking science fiction movie made in the late 1960's by Stanley Kubrick. The fictional computer HAL 9000 features as the paranoid on-board artificial intelligence, a world first? I'm pretty sure even with its low rating, that this one would list on my "must watch before I die" films. |

Armageddon Unimaginative hollywood action-scifi based on the idea that a big rock will destroy the world. The solution ofcourse being to send some macho americans up to blow it up with something big and flashy. I actually got this movie as part of a package of 3 films, else I wouldnt have gotten it. |
